Concerns may include: a change in your or your families financial situation, questions about changing your meal plan, missing meals due to not having the finances to cover food.
The WCU Resource Pantry supports student success by minimizing food and basic need security and preparing students for life after graduation. The Resource Pantry is open to all registered WCU students and provides food, personal care items and school supplies to students in need. Students can also contact the Resource Pantry to learn about additional basic need security resources on campus, within West Chester/Chester County, and beyond.
The Financial Aid Office at West Chester University provides financial assistance and counseling to students who can benefit from further education but cannot obtain it without such assistance. Financial aid consists of gift aid in the form of scholarships or grants, and self-help aid in the form of employment or loans.
Dining Services is responsible managing food operations for the WCU campus community, such as the Lawrence Dining Center, The Ram’s Head Food Court in the Sykes Student Union Building, and other outlets in various parts of campus. Catering services are offered for events and activities on campus, and concessions are offered at sporting events such as football and basketball games. The dining staff also support various academic initiatives, including working with both the Departments of Nutrition and Sports Medicine.
