Concerns may include: Systematic and/or continued unwanted and annoying actions of one party or a group including threats and demands, feeling uncomfortable with the way someone is treating you, experiencing harassment while abroad.
The WCU Ombudsperson serves our students as a private, neutral and informal resource. Students are encouraged to utilize the Student Ombuds Office for assistance with issues and concerns related to their student experience at WCU.

The Center for Trans and Queer Advocacy supports all people within LGBTQIA+ communities. We invite all WCU community members to actively engage in exploration and education around the intersections of gender, sexuality, and other social identities. We work collectively to create an environment where trans and queer people feel supported and validated.
The Center for Women and Gender Equity actively promotes and advocates for a campus community that values the safety, equality, and intellectual advancement of women and other historically marginalized groups.
